Wallpaper has shed its frumpy connection with small country prints and flowers and has resurfaced in brilliant colors and patterns, attention-grabbing murals (click her for the photo gallery ), and exotic materials and textures such as grass and woven cloths, natural fibers and Mica (stone).
When most people think of wallpaper, their grandmother's house comes to mind. "The wallpaper in your grandmother's house probably was old fashioned. So was the shag carpeting, but today people still use carpet – just not from 1968," Mark Snyder says.
